Freedom Worship

Three years ago, God called Pastor J.R. Lee to plant a church for the purpose of seeing people far from God experience life in Christ. In just a few short years, Freedom Church has witnessed over 600 people accept Christ, over 300 people baptized and is now meeting in multiple locations in the city of Acworth.

We believe that God has given Pastor J.R. the vision of where he wants to take Freedom’s ministry and the Lord has called us all here to use our unique gifts and strengths corporately to unite under him and see that vision come to life. So the songs that we write as a worship team are ultimately birthed out of what our church is experiencing. The seasons in our ministry. The sermon series. Where we’ve been. And where we’re going.

“Let It Resound” is the debut album release for Freedom Worship, with an acoustic EP recorded in the fall of 2010. It’s a collection of songs that speak of our desire to see God move in this city and in our world. It is simply a voice that reflects the heartbeat of Freedom Church. We’ve seen surrender, redemption, and lives restored in our church, and we are excited to share these songs with you and we hope that through these songs, you can catch a glimpse of what God is doing at Freedom Church and in Acworth, GA.
